Where will summer take you? The sea? A lake? The mountains? The choice is yours.

Dear Falkensteiner fans!

Do you remember last summer, when you spent hours in the water? Lips salty from the sea and skin still warm from the sun. Sand finding its way home in bags, shoes and between the pages of books. How an ice cream in the afternoon was enough to make the whole day feel perfect. Or the cool morning air when stepping out of a mountain hut to climb the next peaks? And how the mountains slowly begin to glow in the evening light at sunset?

That carefree summer feeling never truly disappears. If you are ready to feel it again, we have the perfect offer. Check in, switch off, arrive. Feet in the sand or barefoot in the grass, your phone on flight mode and everything else on pause. With “Prebook & Save”, secure up to 15 % savings at a wide selection of hotels by the sea, at the lake and in the mountains.

    New additions to Falkensteiner

It may well be that the most exciting new Falkensteiner destinations are emerging precisely where summer is felt most keenly.

Lake Garda is welcoming something new: the Falkensteiner Resort Lake Garda, a hotel shaped by lake life, Italian cuisine and effortless Italian ease. Designed by Matteo Thun, the architectural concept focuses on light, openness and natural materials. Clean lines, warm tones and seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces create an atmosphere that feels both modern and timeless. Today, sailing boats cross the lake. In the past, traders transported lemons, olive oil and wine between Northern Italy and the Alps. Many of the historic lemon gardens around Lake Garda still exist today – some hidden within narrow alleyways, others perched directly above the water.

The new Falkensteiner Resort Lake Garda becomes a starting point for summers shaped by the lake, good food and Italian everyday life. Spend time here and you will almost automatically end up at a town festival, a weekly market or an open-air concert by the water. In places such as Salò or Limone sul Garda, evenings often stretch far beyond midnight. Small restaurants are bringing traditional recipes back, while many destinations increasingly focus on regional producers instead of tourist standards.

With the Arbatax Park Resort, Falkensteiner is taking over a unique destination on the east coast of Sardinia, in the region of Ogliastra. An area known worldwide for its exceptional longevity. Researchers describe it as one of the world’s “Blue Zones” – places with an unusually high number of centenarians. Not because of trends, but because of a way of life shaped by time spent outdoors, regional cuisine, everyday movement and strong communities.

You can perhaps feel this most strongly within the Borgo area of the resort. The small alleyways are inspired by Sardinian mountain villages, many materials come directly from the region, and the atmosphere feels more like Mediterranean village life than a traditional resort. Throughout summer, traditional village festivals take place around Arbatax – with long tables under the open sky, music late into the night and Sardinian specialities such as culurgiones or porceddu.

Two new destinations. Two completely different ways to experience summer. Yet all connected by the same idea: spending more time outdoors and creating a modern kind of holiday experience – relaxed, versatile and shaped by Mediterranean lifestyle.
Punta Skala understands summer pretty well

The Falkensteiner Resort Punta Skala is located directly on the Adriatic coast near Zadar, with long beach days, hidden coves, spa moments, watersports and restaurants by the sea.

A special highlight: Kick it like Arsenal! The record-breaking London club offers exclusive camps for young footballers at the resort. Young players hone their skills through fast-paced drills and tackle match situations with real intensity. Between time by the sea, shared moments and the lively atmosphere on the Croatian coast, ambition grows all of its own accord.

Whilst training takes place on the sports pitches, plenty more adventures await explorers of all ages around Punta Skala: kayaking, first attempts at stand-up paddleboarding in the morning, creative sessions at Falky Land or long afternoons spent between the pool, the ice cream stand and the sea. And somewhere in between, that unmistakable feeling emerges that makes a seaside holiday so special.

This is precisely why many are rediscovering the mountain summer – as a conscious alternative to traditional beach holidays.
