Q: What inspired the new dessert menu?
A: The new dessert menu draws inspiration from the classic Southern flavors I grew up enjoying. Our new soufflé is a twist on apple cobbler, featuring caramel apple ice cream, cinnamon soufflé, and a vanilla bean anglaise. I'm particularly excited about the sweet potato dessert, which brings back memories of Thanksgiving—complete with a deep-fried cornflake-crusted sweet potato cake, sweet potato medallions, and my personal favorite this season, roasted marshmallow gelato. I've also created a modern take on pecan pie, elevated with a rich chocolate twist! I think that each dessert tells a story, and I hope they evoke the same warmth and nostalgia for our guests as they do for me.
